Stage one: transparent tool telemetry

With clear consent and privacy controls, aggregate anonymous tool usage can identify which scenarios users model most often. Early reports should emphasize sample limitations and avoid implying national representation.

Stage two: voluntary surveys

Short, purpose-specific surveys can examine financial planning habits, small-business software decisions, construction estimating practices, or file-transfer needs. Survey questions, recruitment methods, sample size, dates, and exclusions should be published with the results.

Stage three: recurring benchmarks

Only after methods stabilize should Reserve One publish recurring benchmarks. Consistent definitions and revision records matter more than producing a large number of statistics quickly.
