The Daily Brief is designed to summarize developments—not republish journalism. This policy defines how sources are selected and how errors are corrected.
Source selection
Priority is given to primary sources, government agencies, regulators, company filings, official announcements, and established news organizations with transparent editorial practices.
Attribution
Every brief item should show the source publisher, original publication date when available, and a direct link to the source. Summaries must not reproduce substantial source text.
AI-assisted processing
Automation may help classify, deduplicate, summarize, and connect stories to Reserve One resources. AI assistance must be disclosed, and the workflow must include checks for unsupported claims, stale information, and mismatched links.
Corrections
Material errors should be corrected promptly. Significant changes should include a visible correction note describing what changed and when.
Expiration and archiving
Time-sensitive homepage items should expire automatically. Briefs with durable educational value may remain in the archive with their original date and subsequent correction history.
